Lego Workshop
Here’s an announcement from the Shire that sounds like a lot of fun. There’s going to be a Lego Workshop!
The Shire is reviewing its 5 year Youth Plan and needs the help of all you 12 – 25 year olds.
You’re going to help visualise your future in our region using Lego at this cool workshop on March 25th.
Organisers are asking for only an hour and a half of your time and will fill you with snacks and drinks as you build and plan.

Venue: Classroom W10 at Margaret River TAFE 272 Bussell Hwy, Margaret River.

Possum Monitors Wanted!
Nature Conservation Margaret River have long monitored our precious Western Ring Tail Possum but they need more help.
How do these little guys navigate our Capes landscape and manage our seasons?
Training and equipment is provided to new volunteers to help you monitor these endangered local legends.

Capes Coastal Forums
Don’t forget to register now for the Capes Coastal Forums – happening in Yallingup this Wednesday 17th March at Yallingup Hall and in Augusta next Wednesday 24th at the Community resource centre .
It’s all about protecting our coast for generations to come and Nature Conservation , Margaret River wants you to have your say in their ‘Caring For Coast” Program.
Come and help develop a ‘Community Coastal Code’ with them and the other community members already on board.

Swap, Shuffle, Share
Cowaramup Community Garden is asking you to save the date! Sunday 21st march is their next swap, shuffle , share event.
Bring any kind of produce/ seedlings/ preserves/ gardening knowledge along for 10:00 and get ready to swap at 11.
Entry is by gold coin donation. Tea and coffee available – just beside the Men’s Shed.
Cowaramup Community Garden is located just off Sunset Drive in Cowaramup – tucked beside the Men’s Shed and Bush Fire Brigade Station. It’s a Lion’s Club initiative.
Swap, Shuffle, Share is on every third Sunday of the month.
Restricted Burning
Here comes Autumn and with it a restricted burning period.
This begins officially on March 15th and continues until May 12. You’ll need permits to burn.
Always check the Shire website though, as conditions can change rapidly.
