Augusta and Districts Spring Show
Has your dog got the waggiest tail this year? There will be a place to enter in a pet show as part of the Augusta Spring Show on Saturday 23rd October 1-5pm and Sunday 24th 9-3:30 at the Augusta Centennial Hall. There will be jams, cakes, quilts and jewellery for sale, also displays of metal, woodwork and photography to admire. Even the local schools will join in this fabulous event. Children go free with adults paying only $5 which includes tea and cake!

Rocktober Quiz Night
Do you know your grunge from your jazz? Or who the solo legends where in the 80’s? If so, this Quiz is for you! Book a table with eight friends for a fun night at the Rocktober Quiz, on Friday 29th October at 6.30pm. It’s at Cowaramup Hall in Hall Road, Cowaramup. There will be a Licenced Bar, but Bring Your Own snacks. Don’t forget to dress as your favourite rock star!

Red Cross Shops
Calling on anyone with an hour or two to help at the Red Cross Stores in Margaret River and Witchcliffe. Both places are getting desperate for some kind people to join them. It would be a great pity to see these charity shops close down for the want of volunteers.

Intercultural Action Group
For the cooks and those that appreciate good food and new flavours, the next event from the Intercultural Action Group is certainly building bridges. It will be a “Taste of Finland” on Monday 18th October 10-1 at the Heart in Margaret River. Their events are always such fun!

Bunbury Hospital Redevelopment
We have a great opportunity to discuss and input on the future services for Bunbury Hospital and the region. A coastal service planning workshop is being held at 10 til -1pm on Wednesday 13th October at the Heart.
